Accommodation and other amenities
You’ll get a twin shared room for accommodation throughout this trek. As you hike to Tengboche, you’ll also get the tea houses offering attached bathrooms.
You won’t find any heated rooms but will get nice bedrooms with clean and tidy bedsheets and blankets. We recommend you carry a sleeping bag if you don’t want to use the tea house’s blankets.
Other amenities like electricity, hot water shower, hot drinking water, and internet/wifi costs NPR 300-500. This cost is exclusive to the trek cost you pay us. Thus, you must pay for these amenities at the tea houses yourself.
Trek Difficulty
Seven days of Everest Panorama View Trek is among the easy Everest region trekking. Unlike reaching above 5000 meters altitude like Everest Base Camp and Gokyo Lakes, you’ll hike to Tengboche in this trek. It’s just at 3,860 meters.
The trekking trails till Tengboche, and even past it, are thoroughly maintained.
Having said this, you should be physically fit enough to trek. Although this trek is short, you must hike at least 5 hours daily. You should train for a few months before joining our Everest View Trek group in Autumn 2023.
Some sections on the route, like ascending from Larcha Dovan to Namche and Punge Thenga to Tengboche, can be arduous. While climbing these sections, you’ll gain more than 300 meters in less than an hour. So, your legs and lungs must be perfectly fit to cope with strenuous hikes.
Altitude sickness and prevention
The altitude over 2500 meters are prone to altitude sickness. However, the proper form of mountain sickness appears around 3500 meters at altitude.
On Everest View Trek, you may get altitude sickness. But, getting altitude sickness on this trek is doubtful as you’ll stop at Namche for a day of acclimatization. The gradual hike from Lukla to Phakding, Namche, Namche Stay, and Tengboche makes you well adapted to high altitude.
Having said this, you may still get altitude sickness. But, the symptoms remain mild and go away within 24 hours of stay at Namche.
Thus, we encourage you to train for a few months before joining the trek. Cardio, swimming, and aerobic exercise prepare you well for this trek.
If you get it by chance, there are a few ways to prevent altitude sickness. First, frequent hydration keeps you away from altitude sickness symptoms. Rehydration with oral rehydration salt solution helps maintain body salts levels and body fluids.
Eating adequate meals, sleeping for eight complete hours, avoiding caffeine and alcohol, and not smoking keep you from possible altitude sickness.

Best time for Everest View Trek
The pre and post-monsoon months, from March to May and September to November, are ideal times for Everest Panorama View Trek. These months are best known for their clear weather, mild temperature, rain-free days, and elegant mountains and landscapes.
The average daytime temperature during these months at Tengboche remains 10°C. Moreover, the lowest temperature of just -4 °C makes it bearable at night.
However, during these best months, crowds of trekkers will be on the Everest Base Camp route. And if you want a peaceful hike, these months may not be best for you.
